My kids weren't even with me during this shopping trip but it still merits the title.
Here is the outfit I was trying to match:
If you know me, you also know my decision making skills go flying out the window when I'm shopping for myself. After 20 minutes of holding and staring at 2 very different shoes in Banana Republic....
The sales person sees my indecision and walks over to offer much needed advice.
Sales Person: "That red ballet flat goes well with the shirt but I really like that espadrille. It's soooo cute. It would really look a whole lot better with that outfit you're looking at because of the heel".
sidenote: The heel made me about 3 whole inches taller--the picture doesn't do it justice. That was a high heel. Definitely a hot sexy mama shoe.
Me: "Yah. But I have a 6 year old, a 4 year old and 7 month old twins".
They finally made it home! Hollynd missed Addie and Lynn sooo much, she was overwhelmed with emotion when she was finally able to hug them. She's so tender-hearted that way. We really missed Papa & Nana. They came home to 3 grandkids they haven't even met yet. That's better than Christmas! My favorite was seeing Lynn and Addie come off the plane and then watching Nana open her present from us (belated Mother's Day gift--bottom 2 middle pictures).
This was a great outting. Hollynd looooooved it and can't wait to show it to Lynn and Addie when they get home. The little playhouse thingy was a hit. McKay slept through most of it. He really likes to have his hands on his face while he sleeps, it's really cute. Jack slept too but then took a little spin on one of the several trike thingies.
